Research Projects
Since 2001, SENR’s staffs have undertaken more than 100 research projects, mainly in the fields such as theory and methodology of environmental economics, environmental policy, global environmental problems, environmental policy assessment and risk management, development of urban infrastructure, Circular Economy, natural resource management, theory and practice of sustainable development. Those researches have been playing an important role in discipline development, professional education, decision-making and consultation.
Laboratory Facilities
SENR has three laboratories under the administration of the centre of experiment and analysis: instrumental analysis, ecological environment monitoring and environmental systematic analysis, with total area of 720 m2, 7.2million Yuan (RMB) fixed assets, two senior engineers, two engineers, and three part-time staffs.
Research Stations
At present, SENR has three field teaching and research stations: Qixinghe national natural reserve in Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province, Gengcheng Town of Huangshan city in Anhui province, and Linzhi County in Tibet. The stations have been well supporting the teaching and researching activities of the school.
A student majoring in environmental science is busy in testing the element of the polluted water extracted from Huaihe river.
